I will never forget the day my wife and I landed in Canada. The day we said goodbye to our motherland, parents, friends, our house, car, and jobs. We immigrated thousands of miles to Canada to begin a better life for ourselves, our kids, and the next generations.
Back then, everything was different. Things such as language, buildings, driving, the banking system, including financial aspects like credit cards, loans, banking, investments, insurance, and let us not forget the tax systems.
We have made lots of trial and errors. We lost money and time but became stronger as we faced many adversities: sickness, loneliness, critical pregnancy (for my wife), having an extremely premature son with many health concerns, and losing jobs. With each hardship, we knew that God has a plan for us. When I lost my employment and was searching for a job opportunity, we got introduced to the finance industry through an MGA and learned a lot. After some years, I researched to find the best MGA in the industry and by benchmarking technique, I found the answer and the numbers were promising.
As a result, we proudly became part of the Greatway family.
