I moved to Canada in 2007 with my husband and five children in quest of a better future for our family, including better health care and world-class education for my children. With a bachelor's degree, a CPA designation, and over ten years of accounting experience, I expected it to be easy to get work in my profession, but it wasn't. Work experience in Canada is required, and my degree wasn't recognized. I was required to upgrade my credentials to obtain a degree and the designations of CPA, CMA. Finally, I found a well-paying position as an accountant at a real estate management firm.
Though the income was adequate, it was insufficient to cover the expenses and the mortgage we had. We also needed to save for retirement and to fund our family outings. I prayed for an opportunity that would be able to provide me income which can help me retire within 5-10 years.
As if to answer my prayers, I was introduced to Greatway Financial where I discovered that not only would it be my way to a great retirement, but above all, I could be of help to other families, especially their children.
