I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management. After I graduated, I went to Maldives for my practice for three years.

I came to Canada in January 2014. I started in Tim Hortons and took several cleaning jobs under the table to survive. I did the best I could to bring my family here and was able to get my husband and my son in January 2017.

I told myself this was my chance to show my family how happy I was with them, but I was wrong. Instead of spending more time with my family, I focused on having different jobs for our own house, car, and everything. I thought this would make my family happy. Yes, I was able to do it and buy a home in just less than a year. I told my family, "Okay, after this, I would be able to spend more time with them," but I failed them again. Because of the mortgage and car expenses and helping families back home, I couldn't stop working three jobs.

Then I became pregnant. Maybe this is God's way of saying you must slow down working and give time to your family, but I never listened. I am still working until the last week of my due date.

I gave birth as the pandemic hit and was diagnosed with Postpartum Depression. One day, while thinking of what to do in my life, a stranger walked by our house and mentioned studying the Greatway business and learning to stop doing three jobs simultaneously. There will be more time for family and a lot more benefits. I told them I was asked several times but didn't have time, and they said, "Well, what about now? Don't you still have time?"

One day, I thought that if I tried to study and didn't like the business, I still won't lose anything because I would learn about finance and apply it to myself. I enrolled in May 2020 and got licensed in August 2020. After becoming licensed, I treated the business part-time. But this part-time income allowed me to pay the cost of my basement without borrowing money.

After my maternity leave, I got excited to leave the house and started working again. Attending the Purpose 2022 Convention made me realize that I don't want to see myself working for another 35 years before I retire and do the same thing over and over again. The convention made me realize that I need to focus on the business.
